Hotel Mechi Crown was born from the pioneering vision of Mr. Balram Sapkota, who envisioned establishing a casino-based luxury hotel in Eastern Nepal—a bold idea at the time. Backed by the leadership of our visionary Chairman, Mr. Pavitra Kumar Karki, this vision came to life with the grand opening of the hotel in 2020.
Hotel Mechi Crown became Nepal’s first Five-Star Deluxe Hotel, setting a national benchmark in hospitality. Purposefully designed to cater to both local and international guests, it remains a one-of-a-kind destination redefining luxury and experience in the region.
Hotel Mechi Crown stands as a beacon of modern luxury in Eastern Nepal, continuously evolving to meet the expectations of today’s discerning travelers. As of September 2024, the hotel has expanded from 105 to 205 elegantly appointed rooms, reflecting our growing appeal and commitment to excellence.
